Scar camouflage also known as scar micropigmentation, is an innovative technique designed to reduce the visibility of scars by depositing tiny dots of pigment in the scar tissue. Our highly skilled and experienced technicians use specialized equipment to match the color of the surrounding skin, creating an illusion that minimizes the appearance of scarring.

Whether you have surgical scars, sun spots, acne scars or other types of scarring, scar camouflage can help you achieve a more even and uniform skin tone, restoring your confidence and allowing you to feel comfortable in your own skin again.

Some scars may require prior preparation, e.g. laser treatment or scar microneedling.

YOUR TREATMENT
Your first treatment visit will take one to two hours and includes a full consultation and advice on healing and aftercare. Each stage will be documented in photographs. Then, we usually ask you to come back for a review, the so-called top-up about four to six weeks later.
HEALING TIME
If you need to, you can go back to work right away. There may be some redness in the area and slight discomfort for the first hour or two. However, in most cases, our clients return to normal activities the same day. During the consultation you will be informed about activities that should be avoided during the healing process.
RESULTS
It will take several weeks for the pigmentation to fully set in, so please be patient, trust your body and the healing process. We will ask you to return to us for a control visit four to six weeks after the procedure.
RISK AND COMPLICATIONS
Scar camouflage is a very low-risk procedure as long as our care instructions are followed. If you don’t, there is a slight risk of infection which may cause colour loss, but by following our care plan you will be able to enjoy scar camouflage without any complications.
