  • recent exfoliating treatments, e.g. chemical peels
  • after recent sunbathing or in sunbeds
  • trichotillomania – disorders that lead to excessive pulling of the hair
  • eye infections, skin diseases, viral inflammation
  • skin irritations
  • inflammation, fungal infection
  • herpes, acne (mainly during treatment, due to the medications taken and the condition of the skin)
  • no eyebrow hair, a small amount of hair or a very bad condition of the eyebrows
  • henna dyeing treatment within 3 days
